I have been involved with the Legal Hospice of Texas (LHT) for about 13 years, the last three as the Board Chair, and I'm asking you to donate.

Have a Kleenex handy - it's serious stuff.
LHT spends real dollars helping real people with real needs. It isn't rosy or fluffy or something you walk away from always feeling good about because the people we help are in dire straits:
- They have a terminal disease or they have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
- They've experienced a loss - their job, their home, their social security benefits.
- They can't afford a lawyer.
LHT is a lifeline to our clients who are often at their most vulnerable. We provide free legal services to low income North Texans who have had a terminal illness or HIV/AIDS diagnosis.
I don't know how to ask for a donation other than to ask for it.
